Kaytlin
I am so glad you're here! My name is Kaytlin and I am the owner of Illuminate Beauty Studio. I've wanted to be a hairstylist (or teacher) since I can remember. It was even something I wrote on my 5th grade "when I grow up" dream paper! I am so lucky to have been a hairstylist for the past 15 years and to have been an educator for 9 of those years(my 10 year old self would be so proud)!

I am a Platform Artist with Invisible Bead Extensions and absolutely love being able to transform my guests hair from fine, flat and/or thinning/broken to full, dense and healthy! The before and afters are my favorite!!

Being behind the chair allows me to feed my love for not only playing with hair, formulating custom color and changing peoples looks but also helping people to feel more confident! I love to share trade secrets and help you to recreate and maintain your look at home.

When I'm not behind the chair, I love to travel with my hunky barber hubby and play with my two little boys! I am also a huge continuing education freak and always stay up on the latest trends and techniques.
Helloooo! My name is Alyssa and I work here at Illuminate Beauty Studio, behind my own chair as well as side by side as Kaytlin's extra set of hands! Since the age of 16 I've been working in salons as an assistant but it wasn't until June of 2020 that I pursued cosmetology school to become a fully licensed stylist!

My obsession behind the chair is a good dimensional color! When we get to styling, creating waves is my favorite (don't worry I'll show you how!)

When I'm not in the salon, I love spending time with my fiancé watching Netflix, exploring places in Downtown Frederick and also finishing up planning our wedding!
